Here is a great buy for the astute buyer who wants a top sounding deck at a great price. Denon's DP75 is basically on par with the DP80 in sonics and looks exactly the same.
The price listed, $750, is for the DP75 motor, DK 300 plinth (their best plinth) stock platter mat (excellent condition), stock record clamp, unique Denon bubble level, wide center hole lp adapter, custom built extra thick plexi-glass cover. This deck is in excellent condition and plays flawlessly. It seriously shames current tables costing 2-3 times a much and hits with many of the big boys.
NO TONEARM IS INCLUDED AND MUST BE ADDED:
If you want a plug and play system I can add the super rare Lustre GST 801 tonearm from my personal collection. It is the best one I have had over the last 15 years of 7 I have owned. It has its magnetic tracking, the better finger lift at the back of the mount that does not break down like the one at the front, end of run headshell (polished out), and a SAE 1000E 2.5mv phono cartridge (also have Benz LP for more and a couple of technics strain gauges available as well) all set up with a Feickert protractor with my 25 years + experience. I can tell you it would be hard to find any other table this nice looking and sounding for the money. It is a true giant killer. The combo price would be fifteen hundred dollars (that is a bargain for the arm and cartridge added). I can honestly say i would love this gem to go to a good, appreciate home of how long it takes me to acquire this level of vintage gear, properly set up, properly pack and ship with full insurance.
Auditions in Sacramento CA are welcome.
