Dual Vintage Turntable 1009 [Template]

This is a rare 1964 Dual 1009 vintage turntable with a Shure M110E Stylist. This beauty is one of my prize possessions because of the museum quality condition it is in. Unfortunately I have to sell her because I have a new more valuable addition to our house....a new baby haha. The wood casing is flawless, the dust cover is crystal clear, it comes with the original cartridge, hardware pieces and owners manual and all the original 1964 paper work, and the motor runs like it did off the showroom floor over 50yrs ago. I've kept it in a smoke free clean studio for less than a year, and the original owner before me had it on a shelf since he brought it home brand new. If you just started collecting or have been in love with vintage audio equipment for a while, this Dual 1009 looks and sounds amazing. Not only does it make a great conversation piece but it creates a satisfying look of envy on the faces of friends and fellow audiophiles...hehe. If it doesn't sell immediately, I'll take it down and tell my wife at least I tried (wink wink). But for real it's a great deal and a beautiful work of art and I hope it brings the new owner lots of joy and relaxation....(which I don't have anymore with a 9 week old....JK!)

The Dual 1009 is the first record playing instrument to combine professional standards of reproduction with automatic changer operation - the first to offer automatic operation
at a tracking force of only 1/2 gram. In contrast, ordinary record changers require up to ten times this tracking force in order to function with any degree of reliability.

Thanks to the unique tracking ability of its tonearm, the Dual 1009 is the first automatic record player able to accommodate cartridges of even the highest compliance.
