Linn LP-12 Sondek Ittok LVII Upgrades & Linn Servicing

For sale is the legendary Linn Sondek LP-12 Turntable with desired upgrades and world-class calibration service. The turntable is gently-used and mounted in the desired vintage Afromosia plinth. It comes with its original well-worn tinted plexi dust cover. This LP-12 turntable has excellent upgrades, starting with the Ittok LVII Tonearm. The Ittok LVII is one of the finest tonearms ever made for the money, it is built for strength with a large bore alloy arm tube that is glued to a perforated magnesium headshell, and is arguably the first arm to espouse the maximum rigidity principle. This LP-12 has the Valhalla Power Supply, an inboard power supply designed to isolate the rotation of the turntable motor from variations in the mains supply. It has the Linn Trampolin Base Board upgrade, designed to provide additional isolation and is fixed directly to the wooden plinth of the turntable. The Trampolin Base Board is manufactured from high quality aluminium and features acoustic dampening material to minimize interference and provide an even better audio performance.This LP-12 also has a new Sumiko Pearl Moving Magnet Cartridge and features parts replacements added from the last service and calibration it received. Servicing and calibration was done by the Legendary Tom O’Keefe of Overture Audio in Ann Arbor (see summary below), who is renowned for his mastery of the LP-12.

A local sale is preferred because we did not get the original box, however the LP-12 can be shipped within the USA based on the following: For an additional cost, our local Ann Arbor authorized Linn dealer can order a LP-12 shipping box direct from the factory and we can carefully prepare the turntable for shipment, or if you wish you can send us a box that you find on your own and we will ship it that way for you.
