PLEASE READ COMPLETELY...listing includes opportunity to build out this turntable anyway desired with further upgrades available directly from my local Linn dealer, MD Music Systems (owner, Mark, has more than 35 years of LP12 experience along with 100+ hours of Linn factory training in Scotland).

Linn LP12 with custom Woodsong plinth in excellent cosmetic and functional condition.

NOTE: Woodsong Plinth, Artist Series - custom built and finished by Chris Harban. This is the same “Ferrari Red” plinth that is featured on the Woodsong Audio website in the LP12 maple gallery. The wood is beautiful curly maple and the finish is absolutely stunning. The plinth alone would cost you $1400 from Chris…and several months of waiting through the build process.

Please be advised…other than the dustcover, top plate and solid base board***, EVERY PART on this LP12 is either brand new upon delivery to buyer or was installed brand new by MD Music Systems within the last 30 months. Those parts installed over the last 30 months are as follows:

1) Cirkus bearing housing and Cirkus-spec inner platter (bearing)
2) Outer platter
3) All current spec suspension parts (springs, upper and lower grommets)
4) All current spec locking hardware, cable clamps, sub-chassis grounding strap and standard version P-Clip
5) A pair of dustcover hinges and backplates
6) Current spec "sealed" version 50hz motor (no routine maintenance/lubrication required with this version)
7) The final spec version of the glued metal sub chassis (which was used by Linn for two decades before ultimately being discontinued in 2015)

FYI - currently, there are three different version sub chassis offered by Linn: a) latest 2-piece metal at $480, b) the single piece Kore at $1200 and c) the reference-level, all machined Keel at $3250 - if desired, any of these current sub chassis are available from MD Systems at considerable savings.

Bearing oil comments: the Cirkus bearing housing has been drained of all oil to avoid any possible leakage in transit that might damage this gorgeous plinth...shake vile vigorously, then merely use 36-38 drops of oil...this is the perfect amount without necessity of adhering to the ancient ritual of using the entire vile, then cleaning up all the overflow spillage with a cloth - do NOT be concerned that the entire vile of oil isn't used.

Shipping to ConUS will be via FedEx Ground or UPS Ground (insured) at actual cost and buyer's expense.
