Michell Engineering Orbe SE w/ new SME 309 Tonearm

This turntable is awesome in so many ways. For starters, it has one of the most amazing designs of any turntable around. It is super modern, sleek and stylish and will fit in with your posh NYC condo.

It comes with the amazing SME 309 tonearm. I upgraded to the 309 and bought it brand new. The new arm was a HUGE upgrade over the Michell Tecnoarm that the Orbe came with.

This tonearm has a detachable headshell which makes for easy cartridge swaps! It is so stable, easy to adjust, and the sound is simply phenomenal. Dynamics and rock-solid bass response are to die for.

The table has suspension, so this acts as extra protection to any airborne or structural vibrations. What this means is better, clean, tighter sound with enhanced dynamics.

As for the sound, this table sounds fantastic. The sound is robust, solid, and strong with an amazing tuneful bass response and a rich midrange. In a word, it is just plain musical. It has served as my reference table.

My reason for sale is that I'm moving to Spain and need to let go of most of my hifi equipment.
