Please know up front this is the OLD Linn bearing and subplatter version of the Cirkus kit, NOT the current version, thus the low price. New version retails now for $720. Mine includes all the same pieces though: Main bearing, subplatter, springs and grommets, and drive belt, all used but in very good condition. (the belt is almost new!) The bearing has relatively low hours and should be good for many many years! Was off of a turntable built in 1991. So whether you like the sound of the older Linn pre-Cirkus bearing (some like the old bearings better) or are just building a LP12 on the cheap, these are rarely seen important parts! PP fee included!

| I have a very old, original Linn that I bought in the late 1970s. Can you tell me that this bearing, which predates the Cirkus, is better than the one on my TT? Yes, this bearing is about 15-20 years newer than yours and is not only a newer version, but would no doubt have MUCH lower wear, which does affect the table sonically. For only $160 you can make a significant improvement to your LP12 for sure. |
