Pro-Ject RPM-9 Carbon with Evo 9 cc tonearm

Here I am offering a mint condition never-used Pro-Ject RPM 9 Turntable in the special carbon fiber edition with a tonearm pre-mounted from the factory (Pro-Ject 9" carbon fiber tonearm - their Evo 9 cc model). Again, this was never used and you would essentially be buying a brand new turntable. It does not come with a phono cartridge and a cartridge was never mounted. Everything that originally came with the turntable is still mint and will be included - platter clamp, belt drive, level, tonearm cable, all the different tonearm counterweights, even gloves etc. The unit did not come with an instruction manual, so obviously I don't have that to offer. Instruction manual can be downloaded from the Pro-Ject website.

I bought this a few months ago from Needle Doctor for slightly over $2500.00. I was building a system for my wife and brother as a gift, but they were freaked out by having a turntable and don't own any records, so returned it to me. My loss is your gain. You would essentially be obtaining this new turntable with a $1000 discount. Priced for a quick sell. There are a couple of decent reviews if you google it, but I personally don't know how it "sounds". It looks beautiful in person. It came to me as cargo btw in a ridiculously heavy and large wooden box. I cannot send it in this wooden box as I can barely lift it and it will not fit in my car - honestly, the inside packing did not seem that secure in the first place. I will be packaging the plinth/tonearm separately from the platter/accessories, so I will be sending everything in 2-3 separate well-packed boxes.
