This Pro-Ject Xperience Basic turntable is on display in our private, by-appointment showroom. Its played a couple of songs and is very clean. You may notice just a bit of dust from being out of the box. Other than that its a great opportunity to purchase one at a discounted price. It includes the original box and accessories and will be shipped just like a new unit. We will also honor the full original manufactures warranty. Includes the critically acclaimed ($450) Sumiko Blue Point #2 Cartridge already installed!
Performance -
The Pro-Ject Xperience Basic turntable delivers extraordinary quiet performance through the use of low-resonance plinth and platter design, a decoupled motor, and an 8.6" single piece conical aluminum tonearm tube.
The platter of the Xperience Basic is made from non-resonant MDF and includes a felt mat. Its low-tolerance chrome-plated stainless-steel axle runs on a Teflon bearing plate in a sintered bronze bearing housing for exceptionally good speed stability. The plinth sits on three height-adjustable rubber-damped aluminum cone feet for addition rejection of noise and vibration. Additionally, the motor is physically isolated from the plinth, further reducing noise.
Design -
A single-piece 8.6" tonearm with fixed headshell features hardened stainless steel bearings and rigid aluminum tube to provide superb tracking and resonance reduction. Accurate adjustment cartridge azimuth is easily accomplished for optimization of your choice of phono cartridge.
Female chassis mount RCA connectors on the rear panel allow for the use of any single ended interconnect cables. A Pro-Ject Connect-It interconnect is included. Choose Transparent Acrylic or Piano Gloss Black Lacquer finish for the look that matches your lifestyle.

Offering exceptional performance and musicality at an affordable price, the latest generation Blue Point No. 2 phono cartridge from Sumiko sets a new standard in its price class. The Blue Point's features include a moving coil design, high output, 2.5-mV, alloy cantilever, Blue Point-cut elliptical diamond stylus, and standard 1/2" mounting.
This cartridge is very highly rated and a fantastic match for this beautiful turntable in terms of performance and staging.
The unit is ready to take out of the box, simply dial in the downforce and start to enjoy.
