Selling my fantastic Rega P2 which I have invested over
$1,200 (not including cost of table). Here's what you get:

  • Deepgroove Sub-Platter
  • Iron Audio Acrylic Platter
  • J.A. Michell Technoweight Tonearm Counterweight
  • J.A. Michell Derlin Clamp
  • Incognito Cardas Tonearm Rewire
  • Brand New Belt (one month old)
  • Discwasher Antistatic Mat
  • Sumiko Blue Point Special EVO III Cartridge (I will consider offers on the table without the cartridge)

A brand new P2 will run you $675.  It comes with a basic Rega cartridge which
sells alone for about $60.  That table
won't come close to the performance of this table.  The cartridge alone is a detractor. For that kind of money on a new table, a much better cartridge should be used.

My Sumiko BPS still sounds great but it's
probably nearing the end of its useful life.
I would say it still has 20-30% left.  Also, if you go to the
Needledoctor website, you can get a brand new one for $399, instead of $549 as
long as you trade in the old one. That will give you a fantastic new turntable set
up.  But like I said, you can probably
use it for a while and it will still sound great. Regardless, right off the bat, it has a nice trade in value on a new BPS EVO III, which is a killer cartridge.

The Incognito Cardas Rewire of the tonearm, the addition of
the Deepgroove subplatter and the J.A. Michell Technoweight counterweight bring
this table to a substantially higher performance level than any new stock P2 or
even many of the other more expensive Rega tables.   The Deepgrove is brand new and I installed
and oiled the new synthetic ruby bearing that came with it a few weeks ago.

In my opinion, the Iron Audio Acrylic platter is better than the
current glass platter they use on the new Rega P2 and even on the other more
expensive Rega tables. If you consider benchmark high end tables like VPI, etc. many use acrylic and some use a heavy aluminum or other composite material, not glass.

Please note, the maple isloation platform is NOT included.  However, if you are local and would like to buy it, I would accept $75.  Sorry, too expensive to ship.

Conservatively rated an 8.  The table has been extremely well cared for and aside from
normal very light abrasions on the cover, it is in fantastic shape.  I also have the
original Rega Box.

If you send me your email address, i can send you a link to a video from my phone to see/hear the table. You don't get the dynamics of a live demo but it's better than nothing.
