Great Opportunity to start the vinyl addiction. The Rega RP1 (list $445) is a well reviewed and user appreciated turntable. Entry level but quality sound/music reproduction. I am second owner but played maybe 10 LPs. Not sure of age. Previous owner claimed "light use".
The turntable is in excellent mechanical condition, performing as designed. I am not sure of the stylus wear, not being able to measure it, but the music played showed no effects of stylus wear. Plinth is in fine shape with no signs of wear. Dust Cover is functioning as intended, and has a few scuff areas in addition to normal scratching associated with dusting. The "scuff" areas may not be scuffs, they seem to be elevated from the surface, as if they might be residue from scotch tape or the like. In any case, they don't effect playing, and are minor, and maybe you could remove them.
Comes with 2 Cartridges (Ortofon OM 5E and OM 10E-- abt $125), The OM 10 is currently mounted on the tone arm. Also included is a SpinClean manual record cleaner with supplies-used only once ($100), Onzo ZeroDust Stylus tip cleaner ($35), Neoteck stylus force gauge ($ 15), Pro-Ject Cork record mat ($25) and and a cartridge alignment protractor, all purchased new by me.
Going price for the RP 1 on line is $445 new. Cost of above extras is about $200.
I have also downloaded the Operator's manual and will include that.
