REGA RESEARCH RP-1 White Demo Turntable with Factory Performance Pack Upgrade - $425 Plus ship.
This demo Rega RP-1 has less than 20 hours of play on it and is in superb condition (conservatively rated 9/10 - easily a 9+ IMO). Comes with factory installed Rega Performance Pack upgrade which includes upgraded drive belt, felt TT mat, and Rega Bias2 phono cartridge. Great table for a budget Hi-Fi rig... and is in perfect working order. Retail new these were $640, this very lightly used demo is your for $425 plus ship. Comes with all original factory packaging, box, and manual.
Recommended tips tweaks: I am not a fan of the felt turntable mats as in during our winters, static can be a problem and they can cling to your LP. IMO, a better sounding inexpensive option is the hideinthesound.com leather mat for $33 (I have these in stock). From EBay, pick up a inexpensive (less than $15) electronic stylus force gauge (Rega's balancing method does a OK job, but using the stylus force gauge to set tracking force makes the job easier and more accurate). Next, before each play of a disk, give it a quick clean with a Carbon Fiber type LP brush (you can pick up inexpensive ones one Ebay just like the AQ one).
