Technics SP-10 Mk II w/ Luxury Custom Plinth & LP Clamp

FURTHER PRICE CUT $1990 -> $1800 or BEST OFFER. Up for sale is the renowned Technics SP-10 Mk2 on a LUXURIOUS CUSTOM PLINTH with a high performance LP STABILIZER CLAMP. As you know, the SP-10 offers one of the best speed accuracy in the turntable history. When it is mated with a well-made plinth, its performace soars up to compete with the very best turntables in the market. The custom plinth is made up of the finest Baltic Birch plywood and heavily damped with thick Birch plywood (7 inches thick Birch plywood). The plinth can accept two tonearms: one 12" long arm and the other 9" short arm. Currently, a SME 12-inch long arm board is installed in the back position. Another 9-inch tonearm can be added at the right position. The plinth alone is very heavy, weighing around 20Kg (42 lbs) and around 30Kg (65lbs) with the SP-10 installed. The 7-inches thick stack of Birch plywood is carved out to accomodate the SP-10 unit, leaving the top plate thickness at 3 inches. The massive 3-inches thick top plate provides the SOLID foundation for the SP-10 to function at its best. The SP-10 is firmly bolted to the top plinth plate through the five bolts from the bottom side holes. In the back of the plinth, there are two openings: one for the tonearm cable and the other for the SP-10 power cable. One rare feature is that the power supply can accept UNIVERSAL voltage around the world. The input voltage can be selected by the back rotary switch among 100V, 110V, 220V, and 240V. The power supply rests on the custom base which matches with the custom plinth. The plinth costed around $3K when it was made a couple of years ago and is still in excellent condition. The SP-10 is cosmectically in a fair condition, but plays perfectly without any issue. If desired, the top cover of the SP10 can be replaced with newly re-finished one for a reasonable cost. Such a re-finished top cover is often sold for $200 at the Ebay. The cartridge and the tonearm in the photo are not included. The arm board for the 12" long arm is cut for the SME style arm, while the arm board for the 9" short arm needs to be bought separately. I do not have the original factory packing boxes, but all of them will be profesionally packaged and crated for safest transportation to anywhere in the world.
