Versus II rim drive motor from Teres Audio. Original owner purchased from renowned turntable designer Chris Brady.
Very good condition cosmetically, performance excellent and awesome.
Can be used on any open platter turntable such as Platine Verdier, Moerch, Scheu, etc.
Creates a direct drive sound from a string or belt drive table.
More SLAM and bass dynamics, night and day difference, leading edge dynamics greatly improved. Trade-off is very very minor rumble that can be virtually eliminated with a platter mat, most tables use a mat, so it is a non-issue.
I used this on Platine Verdier with great results. Compared to Tw Acustic Black Night, it has more leading edge dynamics and presence, Black Night is a softer presentation, though very quiet. Spend 30-40K or buy this for your Platine et. al. Your choice
