THORENS TD-126 MK II Unique restoration

* Total transformation to Appearance and Performance for this classic turntable from Legendary Thorens.

* The turntable has some nice features including adjustable speed control for 33 and 45 for accuracy in speed , two separated chassis , the lower one holds the power supply enclosed in a dedicated shielded box and the electronics for the control of speed and the upper that holds the separated arm board and tone arm ,the sub platter , outer platter and the three point spring suspension.

* Auto lift and shut off at the end of the record.

* The tone-arm has its own armboard and features a dynamic design with adjustable VTA and solid built with good balance.

*The ultra quiet motor has a dedicated control board in a closed shielded box as the power supply as well.

* The turntable has been disassembled and all the parts have been cleaned,relubricated including the suspension springs ,spindle bearing, sub platter ,motor and the tonearm ,and then carefully reassembled.


* Main platter has been polished many stages by hand .

* The plinth has been refinished,painted with High Grade paint and lacquered several coats to get that piano black gloss shiny look .

* Wiring of the tonearm goes directly to brand new VAMPIRE RCA jacks installed on the rear of the plinth.

* Brand new belt has been installed .

* The system will come fitted with the highly regarded EMPIRE TC-40 Moving Magnet High output cartridge, installed professionally with the use of protractor for maximum accuracy.Can be connected in any MM Phono stage.

* High quality brass cones in chrome finish, installed at the bottom of plinth with adjustable spikes for accurate level adjustment.

*Audiophile High Grade power cable and MARINGO Power jack with nice black braided sleeving has been installed.

*The top class dustcover is a special custom order and made from the best manufacturer in US, the black board which appears in the pictures,upon your request can be included in the asking price too.
