Original owner. Purchased from authorized dealer at end of last year. It's unpacked and sitting on a rack, but never has had a cartridge mounted on the arm, so everything is essentially new. If you believe in break-in, then yes, this table needs to be broken-in. There is a tiny scratch (thus the 8/10 rating) on the back of the plinth that must have happened at VPI as there is no way I did that. See last picture.
I hate to sell it as it has always been my dream turntable, but I'm only fooling myself if I really think I'll find time to actually use it (my digital setup is great and convenient). It comes with the 3D 12.7 arm, which was a $2000 upgrade from the stock 12" arm. If you're going to buy a table of this caliber, then you have to have the 3D version. It also comes with SDS, ring clamp and HRX center weight (and all stock accessories.)
****For those of you that wish to use two arms (two VPI arms or one VPI and Graham), I can throw in a Graham armboard and/or a VPI armboard for free (dealer charged $500). Note that the Graham arm would need to be in the primary position, while the optional VPI armboard goes on the secondary position.*****
For what it's worth, since I'm the original owner, I'd be happy to assist with any warranty issues should it ever be needed (which is unlikely).
As for trading, I might be interested in a lesser table (like a VPI Classic or Rega, etc) plus a MINIMUM of $5000. Please don't make a trade offer unless you're prepared to pay at least that much in addition to your table.
Please add shipping and PayPal (if used). For local buyers, I'll take $300 off (you'll need to pack and carry.)
