VPI Industries Aries 1 w/ Triplanar Amazing Table!

Here's a package recently traded in to us that we don't come across often. In fact, it is one of the highest performance VPI based tables that we've had a chance to hear. (And we've been selling VPIs for 10+ years.)

This advertised package consists of an original Aries I turntable with HRX feet, a Triplanar tone arm, VPI Heavy Aries Motor, VPI SDS speed controller, VPI Stabilizing ring, and Heavy Center Weight, and Gingko Dust Cover. The condition is absolutely stellar for all pieces and packaging is all intact. To be honest, this has always been our favorite VPI Table of any generation and we have always felt that it performed neck and neck with the same generation's VPI TNT HRX and better than any of the newer VPI generations. This particular table with the Triplanar arm simply leaps beyond the HRX and anything available from VPI today, including the top of the line statement direct drive tables. In fact, this table is a simple "platter upgrade" away from running with most any reference tables well into 5 figure territory.

We can further sweeten the above offering, as an added OPTION, by adding a Lyra Skala Cartridge in exceptional shape that came in with the table and is currently mounted and calibrated. Further, this table and arm can be shipped with the cartridge mounted. The current package offering is a fantastic deal and the cartridge package price will be even more extraordinary. (Retail on the Skala is $5000.) Purchased new, the entire package would retail for over $18K! (8/10 Condition is for age; The plinth is outstanding and only shows dust in our photos.)
