Plinth still in protective wrap - only used a couple times - only has a couple hours of use. 

Immaculate, same as new - look at picture 8 and the other pics and look close around the stainless steel corner posts. You can see it is shinier black there.  
 
That is because the entire plinth is still wrapped in its clear plastic protective coating from the VPI Factory that they apply for shipping.
 
Dealers typically remove this beforehand but because this is a collector edition with a run of only 30 tables they left it on and I did as well. 
Once you take it off it will gleam like the HRX's and the Avengers and shiny as new Porsche.

This was a limited production special run of 30 turntables Matt Westfeild released. Comes with Signed Certificate from Matt Westfield.   

This is way more table than a Classic Signature or a Prime Signature. It is one of the best turntable values anywhere and nothing anywhere near this price will compete with it. It is basically the world class HRX in a more compact and reasonable special edition package. 
Trust me I will shoot you straight. Please read my feedback, it clearly shows how I care about other Audiogon members. This is a very rare, unique and outstanding table package. The arm, ring and motor alone almost cover my entire asking price. Plus its nice to get a rare and exclusive limited production table that will hold its value verse a dime a dozen production table but for the same price. The value of this table is Fantastic. It will still be worth this in 5 years..

VPI Aries 3D is the Ultimate Upgrade to the Aries

The VPI Aries 3D takes the best aspects of the HR-X but reduces the turntable to manageable size for music lovers to work with. It’s most notable feature is it’s customization making it a diverse piece of prime audio equipment. Music lovers get the incredible Stereophile Class A JMW 3D arm (also known as the Aries 3D). Equipped with an outboard signature stainless steel motor, the Aries 3D a smooth yet quiet output and is complimented by the JMW 3D tonearm. The VPI Aries 3D was created with an unmistakable design and musical sound at the footprint of a table that can fit in your own home.

Both platter and bearing are inspired by the HR-X design and the chassis is modeled after the Triple-Plinth Design of the HR-X. The VPI Aries 3D is equipped with a 5/8th-inch thick layer of aluminum settled between two layers of 5/8th-inch acrylic. VPI also included HR-X center weights and as well as the VPI periphery ring to keep your records level and perfectly coupled to the platter.

The platter has been revised to a two-inch aluminium just like the Classic Signature and incorporates an inverted bearing similar to that found in the HR-X. The bearing shaft is 60 Rockwell hardness, ground and polished, while the platter rotates on a Teflon/Delrin composite thrust plate for ultra low noise.

VPI Avenger motor

The 300 RPM, 24 pole, AC synchronous motor is housed in a separate aluminium and steel machined assembly that is very heavy and is capable of high torque and quiet operation. It is a significant upgrade.

VPI JMW 3D Tonearm Base 

This base is a uni-pivot type based designed to work flawlessly with our JMW / 3D uni-pivot arms. It features a large knurled VTA/SRA tower with a smooth precise feel makes it easy to set VTA/SRA during play.  The base allows changing of arm-tubes in seconds instead of hours for those with multiple cartridges. In addition, a secondary mounting has been placed between the arm rest and the arm lift to greatly improve the arm's rigidity literally making these the only arms that can do VTA adjustments while listening and then be locked as rigid as a solid mounted arm.
