VPI Industries Aries Scout (w or w/o cartridge)

Selling my trusty friend and loyal music compatriot....my Aries Scout. FREE SHIP and NO PAYPAL or other fees!! Yup!  Lovingly cared for and used only in a smoke and child free home, and in a personal listening space it's entire life. No dog hair, etc. No dings or dents or scratches of any kind that I can see. Small rub mark where arm clamp rubs tonearm when at rest, but that is normal and unavoidable.  Has been working perfectly since day 1, and it was just recently returned from Acoustic Sounds where Stelly installed a new Hana EL cart. While it was there he greased the main bearing, cleaned the junction box, and cleaned and lubed the motor, and gave it a once-over. This was done at the end of June, and I re set it up at the  end of July due to traveling, family stuff, etc. Table is operating at 100% PEAK efficiency.   I WILL split up the table and cart. Table ONLY I will sell for $1100. $1500 WITH the cart. as it is literally like new. Less than 40 hrs. It is a SUPERB MC low-output cart. at any price, but a steal at $475 retail. I bought this cart when I ...a hem.... broke the tip off my Clearaudio Virtuoso Wood. While I was awaiting a re-tip, I had Stelly install this cart at his recommendation. He said, "You will forget all about your CA Wood....". He was spot-on. The old cart is still in it's box and I have no plans to re-tip it until I get some extra cash to play with. This cart has the detail of a good MC, BUT, and this is the big surprise for me, it has WARMTH and bass out the wazoo! Seriously.  I will keep this cart and install on my New Prime if you just want the table. It is good enough that I will probably NOT trade it for a nicer one, even on a $4000 TT....Oh, and hence the reason for the sale. I got a smoking deal on a new Prime, and, well, you know the rest of the story. Sad to see her go. We have great memories. Time for a new owner to make some more!   I have all of the original boxes, paperwork, power cord of course, and goodies that came with it, (see pics) plus I'll throw in a Shure stylus force gauge and a Music Hall TT cork mat. Tried and true. Anyway, OH! FREE SHIPPING to CONUS! That's correct! So please tread lightly on low-ball offers. I am NOT desperate. Just don't need two TT's...
