Its main body is made out of a solid block of African BUBINGA wood which is one of the hardest wood material. Its finish is the natural varnish to reveal its beautiful grain structure. When you see it, you would regard it as a WORK OF ART, as its appearance is so precise and elegant along with its outstanding fit-and-finish. The indent hemisphere on the top is formed by slowly oil-pressing down a 50mm-diameter steel bearing ball. This process helps to dramatically increase the surface hardness of the hemisphere, usually 5-times harder than natural Bubinga wood state. The hardened surface improves the transfer speed of vibration energy from the applied component to the BUBINGA CERAMIC FEET through the ceramic bearing ball.
