Is Maple really better sounding than other woods or materials for audio, well here is your chance to experiment. These blocks are 2.5" square and 1.25" thick with a 1/4x20 threaded insert for threaded cones,(small brass cones included). These are solid maple finished with 5 coats of furniture grade lacquer. It is so easy to add these under your components with cones or without, and let your ears make the call.

My main goal is to sell audio cabinets or amp stands, these are an offering to try maple on the cheap. If you like the effects these make and wish to purchase a cabinet or amp stand I will discount the cabinet or amp stand equal to the cost of the blocks and you get to keep the blocks! For some like my Project - HK user, the blocks are all he needed, I asked him to text me his thoughts and he said, "the Maple blocks widen the sound stage for a crisp and warm sound."

Pictured above is a set of Slingerland maple drums just like the ones I used to make for Slingerland drum company when I worked for them during summer break, in Chicago. I was in the milling department and made the maple ply for the floor bass, toms and floor tom. Today I use Pearl drums with maple shells, other types of shells just do not have the correct tone.
