McIntosh SCR-2 Speaker control relay

This McIntosh SCR 2 Speaker Control Relay is made to be used with McIntosh preamps that have a SCR 2 (4) prong receptacle in the back of them – the C28 and several other (older) models have it. These preamps allowed front panel control of AC power 'on-off' for a power amplifier plus remote switching of TWO pairs of loudspeakers – all handled via the SCR-2 control box. Essentially this is the old school limited version of multi-room zoning as you can run two power amplifiers (or other AC powered equipment)  and main and remote speakers in your house.  The speaker pairs ONE and TWO are then switched on and off by the speaker buttons on the front of the Mac preamp.  The additional speakers connect to the 3 terminal barrier strips, on the top panel of the SCR2. The heavy gauge AC cord & outlets allow you to have more power outlets than just what's on your Mac amp or preamp.   This piece is part of an estate sale, so please see an owner's manual online for further details and to make sure it will work with your Mac preamp/system.   Unlike others like this elsewhere online this unit is in very nice shape with no rust or corrosion that I can see.   I have no way to test this piece since I do not have the matching preamp or amps to hook it up to.  It IS a McIntosh product though, so it more than likely works just fine!  Get a vintage piece of MAC for a song!  IF nothing else, you can buy it just so you can say "I own a piece of McIntosh!"    Paypal is included.  No returns, sorry.   Will accept best offer.
