This is a Master Controller for Universal Remote Controls. It was professionally installed new in our media room closet 3 years ago. There are no dents or scratches, and it is in good working condition. It comes with a RFX-250 sensor that expands the range. I'm a customer, so I don't understand all the technical details, so I have copied this description from another website. I also have 6 remotes to go with this controller (2)- TX 1000 touch screen remotes (1 is not working well, but my dealer said they will send a replacement for about $50), (4) Genesis MX900. The condition of the remotes is about a 7 since they have been handled more. From what I understand, you have to be a dealer to download the programming software but we loved the remotes and the capabilities it could handle.
"High performance audio video systems can include IR (infrared controlled devices such as Satellite and Cable set top boxes, DVD players etc.),RS-232 (serial controlled devices such as projectors, surround soundreceivers and media servers), and Relay and Voltage controlleddevices (such as lights, drapes, curtains and blinds). The MSC-400Master System Controller is designed to seamlessly automate allof these types of devices. Installation of the MSC-400 insures thatany future purchase can be successfully integrated regardlessof its control method.
In the MSC-400 System, there are four compatible remotecontrols which can be programmed to interface with theMaster System Controller; the MX-3000, MX-950,TX-1000 and the MX-900.All have unique options for cus-tomization to any client’s tastes and needs, up to a uniquegraphical style for every room and every user."Special: Advanced ARM7TDMI microprocessor enables the MSC-400 to perform sophisticated logic, with nested IF ELSE statements and tests of sensors and variables.
