On offer is an awesome single Valve Amplification Company (VAC) Auricle Musicbloc mono amplifier at a delivered to your door price !!!

These were first introduced in 2005 when, per Kevin Hayes, he found a way to make a KT-88 based circuit sound better than his prior efforts with the venerable 300B tube!! The amp is a mono amplifier that makes 70 watts per channel on a pair of KT-88 tubes and a pair of 12AU7s. I bought it intending to build a tube-based home theater system (check my other listing for a pair of these), but my plans have since changed. My loss = your gain.

This particular example was made in 2006 and has RCA inputs.

The input tubes are all VAC branded and appear to be in excellent condition based upon the condition of the flashing/gettering. The output tubes are not labeled as to brand. I cannot say how many hours are on the tubes, but the amp sounds great with them. I have the original boxe & packing materials for it as well as the VAC users's manual.
