On offer is an awesome pair of the Valve Amplification Company (VAC) Auricle Musicbloc mono amplifiers at a delivered to your door price !!!

These were introduced in 2005 when, per Kevin Hayes, he found a way to make a KT-88 based circuit sound better than his prior efforts with the venerable 300B tube!! Each unit is a separate mono amplifier that makes 70 watts per channel on a pair of KT-88 tubes and a pair of 12AU7s. I bought these intending to build a tube-based home theater system, but my plans have since changed. My loss = your gain.

These particular examples were made in 2005 and have the balanced input option which added $500 to the original price and gave each amp both balanced and RCA inputs.

The tubes are all VAC branded and appear to be in excellent condition based upon the condition of the flashing/gettering, but I cannot say how many hours are on them. I have original boxes for all as well as the VAC users's manual.
