If you are looking at this you wll know. I cannot profess to have heard all preamps but this is the best i have heard. Many reviewers think so too. This unit has been configured to take 2 phonos and stubborn old Allen (sadly passed awat recently) refused to compromise with the sond and reconfigured to fit 2 phono boards on each mono unit!! Costed a bomb. I really do not know how much these retail these days but when I bought RRP was 20K and cost 2K to add phono last year. The power supply also upgraded to current specification. This is really a rare chance as i have not seen one on 2nd hand market. I have kept this for extra year as cannot bear to part but needs to find new home now.
