Verity only uses the finest custom made European transducers in the Parsifal. A massive 3" high power Symmetric Drive voice coil controls the 8" polypropylene bass unit. Utilizing Bessel tuning for maximum articulation, the Parsifal easily reaches down to 25 Hertz, truly room shaking! The 5" doped-polypropylene midrange is based on the Lohengrin II's state-of-the-art unit featuring a 2" high power Symmetric Drive voice coil. The motor is underhung, allowing the entire voice coil to remain in the magnet's field. Verity allows this exceptional drive unit to run up to 5.5 kHz for optimal coherency and speed. Like the other drivers, the soft dome tweeter uses a Symmetric Drive motor and blends seamlessly with the midrange.All drivers are pair matched using Verity's strict computer system for ultra-stable soundstaging. Good efficiency and benign impedance allows amplification options from 18 watts. The Parsifal utilizes the highest-quality, custom-designed parts mounted in a resonance-free, low-mass and high-rigidity asymmetrical enclosure. Thick panels and extensive bracing ensure an uncolored sonic reproduction. Verity's incredible piano black Italian lacquer is standard, optional wood veneers and other lacquer colors can be ordered. Every pair of Parsifals comes packed in ATA metal cases for protection and ease of transport.
