Vienna Acoustics Mahler Rosewood [Expired]

These loudspeakers truly have to be heard to be appreciated. They produce extremely impressive, deep bass, with a deep sound stage, while still delivering clean, sweet high's & detailed, full mid's; they always sound warm & musical, no matter what you're listening to. Here is a link to their review in Stereophile in 2000: http://www.stereophile.com/floorloudspeakers/296/index.html I would rate these loudspeakers between the Audiogon scale as a 6-7 / 10. Their grills are perfect (not pictured). However, there are some minor scratches which I've tried to depict as best as I can. The lower front portion of both speakers (but more so on the left speaker) appears to have faded from being in the sun (this was not uncommon with these loudspeakers). Nonetheless, they still look fantastic & always receive compliments for their looks & sound (& their sound in no way suffers from the cosmetics). So, while technically a 6 -7 /10, they look and sound a whole lot better than this rating would infer. These speakers ship in custom made very heavy wood boxes. I would strongly prefer local pickup in Boulder, Colorado by the end of April - 1st week of May. Otherwise, all shipping/insurance must be arranged & paid for by buyer. Rod, the long-time owner of Soundings, Denver, CO's authorized Vienna Acoustic's dealer, set up my loudspeakers in my acoustically challenging listening room & did a superb job siting them; he can attest to any representations in my ad. Should you have any questions, kindly phone me and leave voicemail with your phone number should I miss your call. Also, please note that I am downsizing and am also selling the following: -Naim CD 3.5 with Remote (not pictured) & a TeddyCap Power Supply (Pictured); -Naim (Pictured) NAT-05 Digital Remote Controlled Tuner; - (3) (Pictured) 5 Shelf, Double Height, Target Style Audio Racks with wood shelves (the 1st level on each features 4 adjustable isolation points); -Black (Not Pictured) Linn LP12 with Linn Ekos 1 Tonearm; Linn Akiva MC cartridge (can't rate its life, but sounds great!); Clear Dustcover with only minor scratches; Linn "shoebox style" Lingo Power Supply & Linn Linto Phono Preamplifier, all in excellent condition with an original LP12 box (but not from this turntable). I welcome inquiries concerning any of the above and thanks for looking! Steve Cell (917) Seven 34- Four111
