Virtual Dynamics Genesis 1.1 Power Cable 5.5 ft.

One of the best power cables ever made. This is the Virtual Dynamics Genesis 1.1 power cable. Three runs of 6 gauge cable, covered with brass powder to dampen vibrations, and with big-a$$ magnets in the 'Speed-of-Light' technology. This cable, when first introduced (as the 1.0 version) originally sold for $13 995.00. Yup, that's right. After design costs were amortized, these cables were selling for about $4K before VD went out of business.

This cable is missing one of the 'brass clamps', so I got a deal on it.

This cable is so good, when I put it on my pre-amp, I felt like I had just upgraded to a preamp costing at least $3000 more... Which I sort of did, in a way. Bass got way better, better flow, more detail, everything.

This cable is really awesome on power amps, as well, since there is 3 x 6 ga of copper feeding your amp.

Based on trying VD, Nordost, Shunyata, DHLabs, and KAS power cables, I would say that if your system likes Shunyata more than Nordost, then you will REALLY like this cable. This will still probably be a huge improvement on Nordost cables up to at least Brahma on anything you have.

This cable is about 5.5 ft (1.75 m) long, and it 15 amp. It is a beast to deal with, but once bent into shape, it will work great. Just be patient. Fully broken in.
