Selling my beloved Wavelength Cardinal XS 300 B mono-blocks. I'm the second owner and have owned these amps since 2004. I really have not used them much through the years because I have a bunch of gear and I'm always swapping components in my rack. They put out about 10 watts per channel of very sweet, detailed power. I have been leaning toward Low Watt 45 tube gear lately and decided to let these XS Cardinal's go for a very fair price. Small scratches here and there (maybe 3 to 5 tiny light scratches per mono block),, all and all still very beautiful Amplifiers... I'll rate them with audiogons scale conservatively at 7, but they're very very nice. Flaws can't be seen from 18 inches away. Wavelength Audio ( Gordon Rankin ) uses custom made MagneQuest Iron. Transformers are the biggest, Heaviest I've ever seen and lifted and that's saying a lot.. I presently own a bunch of amplifiers and have owned and auditioned many in my lifetime, never seen bigger Iron. When originally sold they sold for $7,500.00 - I'm asking $3,300.00 plus shipping. The tubes are the tubes the amps are designed to use. Tubes test strong and have years of life left in them. I bought these here on Audiogon in 2004 for well over my asking price.
