Wheatfield HA-1 SE Headphone amp/preamp

This is a very nice Wheatfield Audio HA-1 Headphone amp/preamp. It is a single ended, OTL class A triode amplifier with one set of RCA input and outputs on the rear, plus a 1/4" jack on the front and a volume knob.
It is very well built and fully discrete, with good parts such as an oversized Plitron toroidal PS inductor, Nichicon Muse and ERO MKP1840 Metallized Polypropylene Film Capacitors, Bourns volume pot, and IEC power cable socket.
This is a fine sounding HP amp/pre, and a real alternative to the usual op-amp based HP amps that are everywhere these days. I've never heard my HD600s sound as good, and it provides a great sounding tube preamp option to drive just about any amp.
Tube rolling is a great option to tailor the sound to the wishes of the user.
In very good condition. No noticeable scratches. Rated 8 for dust! It has had very little use, hence the sale. I would not let it go otherwise, as HP amps like this are rarely seen these days, it seems.
