Uses 9 12AX7's and one 12AT7. A pair of single ended outputs allow easy bi-amping. Only marginally out classed by my EAR 864 it includes a pair of slider switches for MC or MM phono. Responds very well to tube rolling. Currently using a Sovtek 12ax7-LPS along with eight newer Golden Dragons. Power stage capacitors have been replaced. Original Solen capacitors used for tube regulation. Symbols sound like instruments not white noise. Bass is good. Overall the presentation is very smooth. If you are in the Chicago area feel free to audition. Make me an offer I can't refuse.......
