Yamaha RX-V2600 Pre/Pro

Superb sounding & very powerful (130 wpc) 7.1 channel receiver in excellent condition. Original owner - this unit has been the anchor of my large HT set-up, and has performed flawlessly. Originally purchased to drive 5 Klipsch Reference series speakers in a 6,000+ ft/cu theatre room - a task it performed effortlessly. Later I switched to less efficient, higher current speakers, at which time I also went to separate amplification so as not to push the 2600 too hard. Consequently, the Yamaha has been used solely as a processor for most of it's life. It has occupied a dedicated / well-ventilated space in my stereo cabinet and has never had any other component stacked on it (ever). It has no blemishes of any kind, not a scratch - and all functions perform perfectly. In spite of it's age, it is indistinguishable from new.

This particular model got glowing reviews from "Audioholics", and in "Sound & Vision". It was a great value when new, and continues be a great performer/value today. I have all the original accessories including: remote control(s), YPAO calibration mic, power cord, antennas, manual, box, and bill of sale.
