Clarification: When I mentioned that this system sounded as good as SOME $100k sound systems, I was very serious in that statement. But I use a Very Nice Front end SACD player, Tara Labs Cables both RCA and Power.(the cable you see pluged in was from my computer, just to turn on for pics) And all pluged into a Tera Labs powerscreen conditioner. The sound is Amazing. And If you dont believe there is a differnece in the way cables sound just plug them into this unit. you will quickly see that differnent cables do have different signatures. This amp is amazing!! I bought this and the ATH-1000's as my first serious HI-FI system because I has read somewhere that a great headphone amp and the right set of cans could produce sound equal to some $100k audio systems, minus the sound stage..Now that I've heard high-end systems and this setup, they were right!!. Once I listened to this system for a couple mths I was hooked, became an audiophile and bought a nice two channel rig. Now I'm more into home theater and Realized I hadn't turned this amp on in a yr, so why not let someone else enjoy it and I can buy some other goodies. Works perfectly, in mint condition. broke it in for 20hrs and used less than 40hrs. I bought a really nice 2channel rig and used it most often.This amp has speaker teminals to use as a desk top rig aswell. Have the original packaging from japan. Im only offering the amp for sale here, but would sell the ATH-1000 for another $450 w/amp..
