Recent job loss forces the sale of my prized audio possessions.
Stereophile Class A Recommended Component for many years.
Current AudiogoN BlueBook is $2730.00
Seven years ago, I decided to get off the component merry-go-round ( transport + DAC + preamp + amp and ALL those interconnects! ) and began a search for a 2-box solution: the best integrated amp and CD player that I could afford. After several years of auditioning integrateds' from Classe, Linn, LFD, Krell, Ayre, Simaudio, Musical Fidelity and Bryston, my journey finally ended a year ago with the purchase of the Integre Passion. Amongst its' many virtues are:
- a sweet, detailed and extended treble without any trace of etch or fatigue.
- a liquid, velvety, life-like midrange that reproduces vocals with amazing clarity.
- an exceptionally clean & articulate bass, the best I've heard in ANY integrated amp.
But what won me over completely was this amps' ability to reveal subtle textures and nuances in my reference recordings that I never experienced before. Simply astonishing! And I've been listening to these same reference recordings for nearly 20 years! Trust me, it's very depressing to have to sell this amp but many bills' are coming due soon so sell it I must.
This is a fantastic deal on this amp!!! My asking price is actually much closer to the YBA DT Integre, the Passions' 50wpc little brother that generally sells in the $1000.00 - $1500.00 price range. IMHO, you simply cannot do better for this kinda money. Conservatively rated at 8/10; the faceplate and top are near-mint. The only blem is a minor scrape on the left side towards the rear; the remote control also has 3 small nicks where the paint is missing.
Will be packed securely in its' factory double-box with an extra carton to protect the factory boxes. I prefer payment by USPS Money Order overnighted by Express Mail but I will accept PayPal as well, as long as you add 4% to the selling price. And as always, lowballers' will be politely ignored.
Thanks for looking.....
