*Price Reduced to $575 including insured USPS shipping! This cartridge has less than 100 hours on it.*

This is a used ZYX R100 Yatra phono cartridge, the version with the clear acrylic body, which I purchased a few years ago but have kept in storage more often than not. The cartridge has less than 100 hours on it, and I can confidently say it's only in the early part of its lifespan. It is the "H" version, or "high-output," although I find this classification somewhat odd because the output is merely .48 mV, which is pretty low. Full information can be found on the SORAsound website, but I'll also just mention I've found the Yatra to work well with an impedance load of ~200 ohms. Because this was purchased from SORAsound, it has mounting nuts permanently installed on either side, so the mounting screws go right into them and setup is a snap (plus the stylus guard is pretty "idiot proof" and effective).

There is one minor cosmetic issue with this cartridge that does NOT affect either it's performance or structural integrity. Over time some of the glue inside the cartridge body has yellowed a bit. You can see it along the top of the cartridge body in the first picture, if you look closely. When not in use, the cartridge has been stored in its original packaging in a cool, dark, and dry place.

If you're considering purchasing this cartridge, please consider the following as well: The R100 Yatra is a very light cartridge, which apparently makes it necessary to use a medium-high to high-mass tonearm for best results. Alternatively, you could use headshell weights, if your tonearm is too light, but please keep this in mind, it's very important. This is an incredible cartridge, in my opinion, but like all high-performance cartridges, it requires careful matching with system components, as well as the usual care when setting it up, etc..

You will receive the cartridge inside its original packaging, which can be seen in one of the pictures below, and includes all the original hardware - a screwdriver, three pairs of mounting screws, and a stylus brush.

You may verify that this is a genuine ZYX cartridge by contacting Mehran of SORAsound, from whom it was originally purchased. The serial number is 2963. If there's an issue with verification for some reason please let me know and I'll contact him to straighten it out, but there shouldn't be.

Price is $615 [Now lowered to $575], including fully insured USPS shipping within the U.S., and of course very careful packaging. I will ship to Canada but the buyer is responsible for any Customs fees, etc., incurred during shipping. Retail price for this cartridge was originally $1000. I'll consider offers, but this cartridge has seen very little use, and I think my asking price is reasonable. Additionally, the extreme stylus profile supposedly means it will last longer than a typical MC cartridge before needing to be re-tipped.

I'll accept Paypal, check, or money order. In the case of the latter two payment must clear before I'll ship your cartridge. If Paypal is used, I will eat the fees, and I'll also cover Audiogon fees. Your package will be shipped within two business days of receiving cleared payment.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions at all, and thanks for looking! And by the way, I took both of these pictures and they are indeed the exact cartridge for sale. The first picture is of the Yatra installed on one of my turntables.
