Description

Tube based system 40 years in the making. Evolved through equipment including Bose, Marantz, JBL, Luxman, Cary, Mark Levinson, Audio Research, McIntosh, Meadow Lark, Martin Logan, BAT, Technics, Yamaha, Teac, PS audio, Conrad Johnson, VPI, Thorens and others I’m sure I’ve forgotten. Always in pursuit of the most realistic an natural rendition of instruments and vocals in my home. Have owned and heard some great solid state systems throughout but once I listen to a tube based system I was hooked.  This system brings me and friends absolute musical bliss. It excels on all manor of music be it jazz, classical, rock, r&b etc. each component seemingly complemented by the other creating the illusion of the band and the recording venue in my listing room. I will probably die listening to music through this almost organic system and I’m fine with that.... Custom cabinet and amp stands made by me. All shelves and stands made using constrained layering technique combining aluminum, acrylic and solid hardwood .

One of the best sounding and looking system here, the attention to detail is striking. I have heard EA speakers many times and they always impressed me with their detailed, deep and lifelike soundstage. Kudos for putting together a audio system that’s emotionally engaging and connects you to music intimately!

Owner
The Evolution Acoustic mm2 is a truly amazing transducer. Near field or far it projects a wrap around soundstage deep as the ocean, sidewalls disappear as do speakers themselves leaving instruments of any kind, vocals, recording venues with a reality that is simply amazing. IMHO the tube amps, preamps contributes immensely being the signal passes through them first. The speakers project those signals in my space with an spooky reality that moves emotions.

Wow, your speakers alone cost $50,000!  😳  The total system must be well over $100,000!  I knew I was slumming it, but seeing your gear and knowing how much it cost, I am a barbarian by comparison!

Your system is drop dead gorgeous.
And you've introduced me to brands I was unaware of, I'm going to have fun looking these things up. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful system page.

Wow, that is a lot of beautiful equipment in a very small space. Are the acoustics challenging? Or are the speakers particularly well suited for the space.

You have a fantastic system.   I've heard much of your system and have the same RR deck.  Excellent equipment choices.   I am considering either Von Schweikert or Evolution Acoustic speakers, either MM2 or MM3s.   Do your speakers provide a wide seating/listening area?   I have not auditioned them so I have to rely on owners like you.  Thanks

Amazing system. You have it all, and I'm sure it sounds as good as it looks. Congratulations, and enjoy it. It shows your passion and love of music.

The speakers are truly amazing. Great design and build quality. Pretty neat to look at.

Beautiful system indeed. Showcases your passion and effort. So very intrigued as to how it must sound. Congratulations and may you have many more years of enjoyment of your system and music to look forward to.
