The DR-6 was a moment in the reviews, years ago. I wanted one. The power supply feels heavier than the preamp itself. The phono preamp compares well using the Sumiko cartridge. I’ll update as I come to decisions.
I'd run an Inspire SEP amp with the Omegas for a while, but then also enjoyed a First Watt J2. After a shorter period I stumbled upon a Aleph 5, which bested the J2 in some respects. The A5 is musical in a way that earns it a room for years to come.
