JULY 2033 UPDATE

Description

The only change since October 2022 is the new pair of Maggies - the LRS+ model, purchased new from Audio Breakthroughs in Manhassett, NY.  Waiting three months for them to arrive was no big deal since I was still digging the original pair of MMG’s. 

Fortunately for me, the Magna Riser stands that I purchased for the MMG’s fit the LRS+ perfectly - no need to buy the better, optional stands from Magnepan which, IMHO, are pretty darn ugly. 

No other plans to add anything save for a better DAC. The two Schiits are decent enough for the time being, and I’ve been watching the web for Chord’s Qutest model.

That’s pretty much the route that my journey took - Maggies at first, followed by Thiel. It ends here with the possibility of finding another pair of Thiel CS3.5’s, or perhaps the Maggie LRS which is getting superlative comments. Love both brands.
