Description

My office system for a while. I wanted to run my 2 EP100.2 SEs in mono but I didn't like the fact that I would plug one into the wall and the other into the power conditioner strip . Then I said, screw it, I'm plugging them both into the strip. Problem solved. The ASL passive is too cool for school. Tape monitor switch for the Schiit. I've had the NAPA CD player for a loooong time. It's a good deck. It's small. Small is good. I got the Hagerman this summer while undergoing a bout with Notenoughgear-itis. I had the Schiit for a while on my desktop system some time ago. It was taken out of service when something better came my way. And promptly forgot. I was going to move the Odyssey but it's too heavy and too big to hide, so I unplugged it. From the wall.

Components Toggle details

    • Fyne Audio F500
Killer speakers. Bought them slightly used from a reputable dealer.
    • Rega P1
Old P1 with Ortofon OM20 cart. Upgraded doo-dads.
    • Hagerman Bugle2 phono preamp
On left. Custom aluminum case per the guy that sold it to me. Agon purchase.
    • Napa Acoustic NA-208CD CD player
Center. I bought this a long time ago after an SF Audio Show. I got it because it's small.
    • Schiit Audio Vali 2 with Telefunken E88-CC
    Right. Cheepnis, smallness, and goodness.
    • Antique Sound Labs Passive T2
Got this on the secondary market for a stupid price. The polished stainless steel case is almost impossible to keep clean.
    • Emerald Physics EP100.2SE
Running as monoblocks.  Bought used from Walter himself. Great amps. They have been used singly and doubly in most of the systems around the house. The fact that they don't match is the kicker!
