Description

It's been a pleasure to put together a system that makes friends and family laugh and cry when they hear it. When I was young I installed some pretty nice systems as a side gig--some were wonderful, some were just huge, something like 77 pairs of speakers in one of the largest mansions in the Beverly Hills area.

But the goal with climbing the ladder now was to keep tweeking and tweeking for myself and my family until it was difficult for my wife, with her golden ears, to tell if it was a real piano or the sound system. And it's just about there.

Pass 350.8, VAC Sig 2, Holo May KTE, Aurender N200, Rel 812's, ML CLX Art speakers and mostly Water cables. A couple of Marantz pieces for surround and some smaller ML speakers for rear and center, but will probably sell the marantz stuff if anyone's looking, as well as a lumin T2 dac/ streamer and an SVS PB16 sub.

I probably missed a piece or two, yes! The rega 6 w/ortofon blue,  may upgrade that,  and some power surge Furman's. Adding a whole house surge, as well.

That's all for now. Enjoy the music and g'night, all.

    Thank you for your comment and kind words, very appreciated! Only part i didn't follow, perhaps bc I'm new to this part of audiogon, is your mention about posting it earlier.
    Potentially dumb question alert: did I miss something by not posting earlier? Assuming you meant so it would've been helpful in engaging in conversation, right?
    Thanks milpai!

    @jeremyjava,
    That is a large room and matching system. You have some nice components to go along with those speakers. Also like the ceiling that probably acts like a diffuser. I like the loveseat/chairs on the side, as they match the "type" of my chair that puts nothing behind your ears - good thing for music listening. I believe you when you mention the reaction from your family and friends. Man...you should have posted this system earlier. Thank You for sharing your journey and the system. Enjoy your music!
