Oops - I see now that I misunderstood - the LS3/5A was what had to come down when the speaker stand were not welcome. Still, you have some nice options for listening!
I love the light in your home. I used to own Linn Kans, which were a LS3/5 variant. I used a Naim 42.5/110 preamp/amp combo, and I thought they were wonderful. I can see why you don't mind when your spouse wants you to go small for a while.
