@tarantula , It comes down to your budget. To get some perception of extra "emotion" in the music, the speaker will generally start to get bigger. A bigger high sensitivity horn speaker that's properly designed may be a good bet.

Since you are in Europe, Avantgarde, Daniel Hertz, etc may be some examples for audit. Try listening to some other bigger horn speakers that are available in Europe as well. I believe there are some other niche designs from Germany and so on. If you are on a restricted budget, some speakers in the pro audio world could qualify, Pioneer XY-152, Pioneer XY-122, etc could be examples.

I understand that this is a very neutral amplifier, however I have no idea what speakers to try to get a little more emotion in the music. Maybe something from the BBC school of sound ala Harbeth or do you have any other recommendations?

@tarantula , it is a very acoustically transparent amp that will let you hear only the upstream electronics and speakers. It won't add or subtract anything.

If you want add coloration, flavor and excitement with the amp itself, there is Luxman, Schiit, etc.

Hi deep_333!

I see you have Technics SU-R1000. Could you give me advice about speaker pairing. I have Finkteam KIM for now and I am not fully satisfied with the combo because of lack of fullness and musicality... there is not enough involvement factor and everything sounds boring.
