Good to know about the tubes you tried. I also have a pair of NOS Mazda and Raytheon 5814A that I like. The new Psvanes sound good but last less than a year. I have not heard the new Mullards which came with the preamp, in years. Need to dig them out and the them again.
BTW, you know that you can ,it’s your components in the system….right? Looks like a good setup to me. Have fun with your music.

Being a tube guy, I've tried several pairs of 12AU7 tubes, but not Siemens ($!). To me, my system sounded good with any of them, even the new production Mullard that came with it. From the advice of my dealer, Jim, I have been using early 60"s Sylvania 6350’s with adapters.
Preferred these over Brimar, Telefunken, Mullard, etc.that I tied.
Using both an Alan Eaton SE 45 amp, or an Elekit 8600s 300B amp with Tekton Design Perfect Set 15 speakers.
Excellent system synergy with natural, live in the room sound.
