I've owned many expensive high-end audiophile components throughout my audio journey (McIntosh, Audio Research, Krell, Nakamichi, MartinLogan, Bowers & Wilkins, Magnepan, Monitor Audio, Klipsch, Pro-Ject, etc. just to name a few), and I've thoroughly enjoyed my time with every component I've ever purchased. But I've discovered I don't need to spend such exorbitantly expensive prices on ultra high-end components to still enjoy my favorite recordings! Today I can spend a fraction of the cost on vintage, excellent quality serviced components, along with new, affordably priced high quality audio equipment that can reproduce virtually the same standard of high fidelity, detail, clarity and resolution to my ears as the high priced audiophile gear...and my musical enjoyment isn't suffering in the slightest (as a matter of fact, I'm truly enjoying it more)!
Thanks! I love these Lithuanian manufactured 2-way towers! Drivers are made by ScanSpeak in a curved, heavily braced MDF, quasi-transmission line cabinet (ported on the bottom) with real wood veneer. The crossover network is comprised of premium parts (including caps from Jensen and Mundorf), and they're extremely natural, focused and transparent with clear highs, warm mids and tight punchy bass! Google Audio GE Teddy for reviews and specs. As for the subs, having them in the usual left/right corners was just too boomy in my small room...I just experimented placing the right sub on top of the left sub and the boom was gone with tighter sounding fundamentals. - cutt10427
Thank you. I've tried that, but with the room being small and with certain furnishing that can't be relocated, this stacked arrangement actually works best with no one-note boom! - cutt10427
