Tommy,

It varies from room to room and speaker to speaker. I would say that a good place to start is to aim the tweeters at your listening position and go from there. I've seen other systems posted here with the same speakers I have using a lot more toe in than I am using. Too much toe in decreases the width of the soundstage. Too little loses focus.

As always whatever sounds best to you is the correct placement.

Good Listening! Don

I did notice the tape and assumed you were doing some experimenting. Your room may not be perfect but it's yours. My equipment resides in my living room so I don't have very much flexibility although things have worked out better than I expected.

We all do the best we can do given room constraints. Not everyone has the luxury of a dedicated room.

Tommy,

That's a sweet system you have there. I used to have a Dynaco amp in my youth. Was just curious as to how far away you sit from the speakers and if you have tried any toe in on them.
