Description

The idea was to build a small HT/Media room for 2-6 (limited space) people in the basement. Since it was built in a townhouse (condo) which is ~20 years old we wanted to add soundproofing as well.

For the soundproofing I used ASC ISO Wall.

For the acoustical treatment I used ASC studio sets (the best most price/performance value).

I used CobaltCable for all of the wiring.

Do you mind if I ask who made the cabinet that you are housing all of your AV equipment in?

Thank you! Yes I did it myself - fortunatelly I had friends to help me, especially at the the start since I had 0 building experience. It took me 1 year working on week ends and nights. I have pictures for all stages of the project - want to describe on what I have done. There are some things I would have done different, but there are findings that that would be intereresting to others as well ...

Nice job on your room! Excellent use of the old closet space. Did you build this yourself?
