I started my audio system in 2009. I wanted a budget conscious system that was good and flexible for 80% music and 20% for HT, my initial budget was 2.2k USD.
Since then I have moved and now I have multiple spaces where music is almost always on:
- Main room and Bathroom
- Kitchen,
- Bar
My audio investment has grown to 6.5k USD (excluding TV) including the main system and the other rooms. I love my well-integrated system. I guess I’m done for a while till I get the upgrade bug again.
My music source is a Sonos Connect and using a Synology NAS storing 12k FLACs music files.
For the rest of the house I have ceiling Revel 10"and Yamaha 12" speakers for a clean look and Sonos Connect Amp.
Almost everything in my system was bought second hand. Suggestions very
welcome.
