    • McIntosh C47
C47, a 12-input digital preamp designed to offer huge flexibility with both digital and analogue source components, MM and MC built-in phono stage for the direct connection of turntables, an “advanced” headphone stage, plus four digital inputs, hi-resolution audio formats via its USB input, including DSD64, DSD128 and DSD256 along with DXD 352.8kHz; its twin optical and single coaxial inputs can decode at up to 24-bit/192kHz resolution. For optimum SACD playback, the C47 preamp can also connect digitally to McIntosh’s MCT450 SACD/CD transport via its ‘MCT input’, creating a secure DSD connection. Great addition, smooth and highly enjoyable. Takes all my sources and then some. Love the Quality!
    • McIntosh MC462

Experience stereo bliss with the MC462 Amplifier. The MC462 replaces the highly regarded MC452 as our most powerful stereo amplifier. Like the MC452, it features a robust output of 450 Watts per channel. With a dedicated McIntosh Autoformer™ connected to each audio channel, the full 450 Watts is available to any speaker regardless if it has 2, 4 or 8 Ohm impedance. Just one MC462 Amplifier can single-handedly power a world class home audio stereo system.

The new generation MC462 stereo amplifier has received numerous updates compared to the previous model. The most prominent is that filter capacity has been increased by nearly 50%, which has resulted in a remarkable 66% increase in dynamic headroom from 1.8dB to 3.0dB. This allows the MC462 to easily handle drastic swings in dynamics and effortlessly reproduce your favorite music with virtually no distortion. Bass performance is also improved as a result of the filter capacity increase. Our eco-friendly power management system, which will turn the amplifier off after a set amount of time when no input signal has been detected, has been added. Internal wiring and select circuit components have also been upgraded.

    • Superphon CD MAXX Preamplifier
Rebuilt with stand alone power supply. SS Line Preamplifier, Dual Mono volume, mofset, Shunt regulation, Acrylic Case, Oak Sides. Separate Power Supply Enlcosed E-Type Transformer. This is another well designed piece from Stan Warren, 1/2 of PS Audio. The Superphon preamplifiers were known for being a high end performer for a reasonable price. The CD-MAXX is a gem. The CD-MAXX has several innovative design characteristics that are not found on inexpensive electronics. Class A Mosfet Outputs, with FET current sources. Shunt regulation located as closely possible to each stage. LED diodes used for precision voltage trim. All controls physically mounted to the board, so there are no wiring harnesses. Dual Mono volume control, eliminates the balance knob for better sound, no tone controls either. A unique acrylic top case and solid Oak chassis sides that have no magnetic properties. A separate Power Transformer in Aircraft grade textured Satin Black Aluminum case with specific rectifier for Red LED power light indicator. Reduces draw on power supply. Extra fuse provided at back of unit next to on/off Toggle Switch. Upgraded XLR balanced power cable connection from Separate power supply to the control unit of CD Maxx. Ability to select between active and passive gain configuration, mute and listen modes. The CD MAXX is the Revelation without the phono stage. It is a very natural sounding pre amp, with an easy and flowing nature to the midrange. Bass is full and extended. The treble is extended and detailed, but never bright and zippy. There is no need for treble or bass control in this piece as it does does not exaggerate, but rather reveals. It sounds impeccable through mid-range and tight at low to high volume. Particularly, when I listen to it in passive mode at low volume levels. Taking it up a notch and turning it to active kicks in a robust performance of all genres of music. Cosmetically it is in factory perfect pristine condition with a new acrylic case and refinished natural stained Oak sides.
