All vintage equipment, beginner, bargain finds at thrift stores and what not but sounds really good to my ears. Prob needs some updating, tweaking etc. so opinions are greatly valued.
I would spent some time and (maybe a little money) on the appearance.
Put the Fisher on top of the cabinet, It deserves to be seen (also better for heat dissipation). Restore the woodwork and clean the face-plate. Check YouTube for 'cheap DIY' videos on that. Is the glass broken on the Fisher?
And I would raise the speakers for better sound. Maybe put them a little bit further apart.
