Was toying with the idea of pulling the trigger to a pair of E 2's but in wood finish. Really would like your feedback as I am looking for a pair of detailed, dynamic but smooth sounding speakers.

some speakers have an upper mids and  lower highs that tend to irritate my ears.

Are these a wise investment for me?

Would you recommend?
